Project Details

A Sacred Space Reimagined

The new St. Michael the Archangel Youth Center is custom-built from Douglas fir timber sourced from fallen trees on Camp Howard’s grounds. This multipurpose facility is designed to host Mass as well as a range of activities, including performances, movies, and meetings to enrich spiritual and communal experiences. Modeled after the famed Chartres Cathedral’s labyrinth in France, the exterior cast concrete plaza offers a serene space for reflection and contemplation.
